Individual Counseling for adults. Includes assessment and treatment of most psychological and emotional issues. Referral to other mental health professionals, when appropriate is also part of treatment services.

Hypnotherapy, Meditation and Visualization. Utilizing aspects of all three, clients have found relief from a myriad of distressing symptoms including anxiety, panic, pain management and sleep disorders. Hypnotherapy has been effective in helping clients overcome fear and anxiety related to divorce issues, such as going to court.

Alcohol and Drug Assessments for Adults. Assessment, treatment plan and referral for individuals struggling with addiction. Usually two sessions are required to do an in depth assessment.

Group Counseling for Women. Limited to eight women per group, groups are formed to address specific issues such as divorce, or single parenting. Groups may be time limited or open ended.

EAP. Employment Assistance Services. Often Employers will provide a predetermined free number of counseling sessions for their employees. Check with your Personnel Department or Human Services department at your company to see if they participate in an EAP program.

Workshops. Prearranged and held on site. These include topics such as sexual harassment, stress management, assertiveness training and dealing with divorce. Workshops are designed to meet your organization's specific needs and can be in lengths as short as 90 minutes to all day format.

Trainings. “How to Organize and Facilitate a Divorce Support Group” is a two day training geared toward clinicians and lay people who are interested in learning more about how to use the group process to facilitate healing from divorce. Donna co-facilitates “What’s love got to do with it?” a training for clinicians regarding ethical issues and boundaries in psychotherapy.

Retreats. Donna designs and facilitates weekend retreats for women experiencing divorce and other life transitions. These retreats are held twice a year in Connecticut.

Seminars, guest appearances, book signings. Donna is available to speak with your organization regarding issues related to divorce, single parenting, step parenting and being single.
